All sessions are online.
All payments are processed through IvyPay. This a secure HIPPA compliant platform that will securely hold your credit card information. Positively Psyched does not have access to this information. We are also able to send you a super bill through IVYPay if you would like to you can submit this to your insurance to determine if there will be a partial reimbursement.
During the first session, you and your therapist will review the paperwork you signed (i.e. policies re: scheduling, structure and length of therapy, confidentiality, etc.) You will also be given the opportunity to ask any questions or address any concerns you may have.
You and your therapist will be interviewing one another to determine if therapeutic style and qualifications are a good fit. A clinical assessment will also be conducted to gain an understanding of possible treatment modalities. Please note the assessment may take multiple sessions to complete. If it is determined that you and your therapist are a good fit, the next appointment will be scheduled. Frequency of session will also be determined.
Remember therapy is about you and your well being. If one party decides that it is not a good fit, referrals to other therapists can be provided if you are interested.
Fees are due at the time of service.
